Källbokattens

It started with an advertisement in the morning paper. "Norwegian Forest Cats for sale." The year was 1988 and after a visit to the breeder, we, my  late husband and myself,  where proud owners of two lovely brothers:  Yggdrasils Filip Frejasson and Yggdrasils Fritjof Frejasson.

Since then we are on the map.

The third cat in the family was our outstanding domestic pet, called Micke. He was inherited with our new house, since he refused to move out with his old family. Micke became about 18 years old.

Our Filip passed away in a nasty blood disease. Shortly after that we bought Mhorrses Avena and after another three years Mhorrses Cikoria (Cilla). Cikoria was killed in the traffic at 4.5 years of age and Fritjof (Fritte) faced the same destiny, when he was almost twelve years old.

This generation of cats where allowed to walk free in our garden and in the forest, but after the dead of two wonderful cats in the road - never, ever again!

Now we have a fenced yard, where everybody can go out for some fresh air and still be safe.
